How to Get to Bocas del Toro
TO BOCAS BY AIR
By far the quickest and easiest way to reach Bocas from Panama City is by air. Air Panama run several flights a day directly to Isla Colon from Albrook airport (Panama City’s second airport, roughly 40 minutes from Tocumen Airport and 20 minutes from downtown). If traveling from Costa Rica, currently there are no direct flights to Bocas from San Jose at this time. There is a shuttle that runs daily to Bocas, www.caribeshuttle.com
TO BOCAS BY BUS
TO BLUFF BEACH
Bluff is situated roughly 20 minutes from Bocas Town, which is also the location of the airport. Leaving town, the first half of the road is paved, whilst the second half is a bumpy, scenic drive along beaches and through jungle. Taxis are plentiful in town and the cost to Bluff is $15/20 during the day. If required, taxi pickups can be arranged from the airport, with guests booking 3 nights or more throught this website being entitled to a complimentary one-way transfer out to Bluff.
